MailPix Review & {Giveaway}

I take a LOT of photos. I mean like - A LOT, A LOT! Chris and I bought an external hard drive just so I could house all of them. I also love taking photos and putting them to Instagram. Some of them I wish I could print off - but have had some bad experiences getting them images to come out clearly.

So, when I was contacted by a new photo printing company called MailPix to see if I was interested in doing a review I jumped at the offer!

What is MailPix?

MailPix is a photo printing website that allows you to create some amazing photos gifts. Prints, mugs, blankets, key chains etc. You can sync your Facebook or Instagram accounts to your MailPix account and have those photos turned into beautiful keepsakes. Their goal is to keep costs low, and pass the savings on to you. The brainchild of Fred Lerner, a lifelong photo entrepreneur, Mailpix is a one-stop shop for all your photo needs – from storage to printing to custom photo gifts.

It took me some time to think about what I wanted to create, so I did a little of everything... well not EVERYTHING because they offer a lot, but I did a variety of photo gifts.

First, I decided to do some Christmas cards. This was the first time I created a card on the computer, and let me tell you, it was EASY PEASY!

I chose the card that I liked (well Chris helped me as well) - uploaded my photos and voila! Insta Christmas card. I think they turned out GREAT! I got to customize the "Love Chris... etc" Size. color, you name it. They also send you envelopes, and some extra ones as well - you know just in case!

I then synced my Instagram & Facebook account and decided to get some prints made. I also made some 8x10 prints as well. Again, very easy to go. I could change the size if I wanted to. The site is super simple to use. I really liked that I could make prints of my Instagram photos. Some of them wouldn't turn out right if they were made into the standard 4x6 picture size. I got most done in 5x5 but I did get one made in a 8x8 size.

There is a photo that I took with my phone, that I put on Instagram - I LOVE it so much. MailPix offers the option to make a canvas print. I chose to have made an 8x10 print of the boys. I kept this one for myself - and it hangs in our room by the bed. I was a little worried that it would turn out grainy as it was a cell phone picture, but I was so impressed when it arrived. It's beautiful.

I also made some magnets that I sent out with our Christmas cards and made my sister a very special key chain. It has a picture of where my Dad is laying to rest.

MailPix is amazing. Easy to use and their photo gifts are quality. I was so impressed with all my purchases. Be sure to check them out on Facebook and Twitter as well!
